Due to the numerous requests from PAA Members who were unable to attend yesterday, I am repeating this clinic.
This is primarily a road skills clinic but feel free to attend on a MTB or CX bike as many of the skills taught will be effective on any bike you ride.
Advanced riders are encouraged to attend in order to brush up on skills AND to help mentor other club members.
We will be in the parking lot and on the grass during this clinic.
Since the clinic is 3hrs, we will have time to progress from basic skills to intermediate skills and (time permitting)advanced skills. Please bring water and enough food to sustain yourself for this amount of time.
Please RSVP via email or phone by Friday midnight.
Cheers,
Coach Rick

Two Events for your choosing!
1) The Serotta Ride which was originally scheduled for Jan. 24 has been postponed due to heavy rains. This ride will now take place on Sunday Feb. 21. The day will include an 80 mile bike ride from Orange County to the Serotta Factory. Lunch and a tour to follow. Then, get escorted back to O.C. in style while your bike is transported in a separate vehicle.
Contact Kay Payer for more information.
2) Also on the calendar is a repeat of last year's very successful PAA Track Day.
When: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Arrive 30 minutes early to sign a waiver and to get geared up.)
Where: LA Velodrome, Home Depot Center, Carson, CA. http://lavelodrome.org
Cost: FREE for PAA Members! (Includes bike rental & track certification)
What to Bring: helmet, shoes & pedals
RSVP: Scott Lelieur
Please RSVP, as space is limited! Thanks to PAA, we are able to attend this session at no cost. The cost for a typical “accelerated” introductory track class at the LA Velodrome is $65 per person.
At the PAA Track Day you will learn about the basics of track riding, take a spin on the track (free rental bikes are included with this session), and become certified to ride at the LA Velodrome for training rides and races. Bring yourself, your helmet, shoes and pedals.
