PAA is served by a Board of Directors who serve a two-year term and are elected by a vote of the membership at the November meeting for the following calendar year. In addition to duties assigned by the bylaws, Board members also serve other duties within the Club.
Eddie Ramirez, President
Eddie has been involved with PAA for about 10 years in various capacities, starting with the creation of a development program upon joining PAA. While serving as the Cat 4/5 Team Captain, he joined the PAA Board of Directors, where he quickly took on the role as clothing coordinator for many years. While in this role, he decided to step it up a notch and run for vice president. In 2009, he decided to take time off from PAA leadership and focused on riding and racing… mainly his mountain bike, thanks to the influence of Captain the Great Nor Oropez! The year of 2010 brought Eddie back to leadership—this time as the president of PAA. Eddie has also committed his service to the club for 2011 and 2012.
Sean Robman, Meeting Coordinator

Robert deFerrante, Clothing Coordinator
Robert is the Cyclocross team captain for 2010/2011 after having won last year’s 45+ category in the Cyclocross Fever Series here in SoCal. He will again be racing for the 35+ team on the road. For the PAA Board, Robert is a jack-of -all-trades, filling in the gaps in responsibilities. In his new position, Robert will be the reigning Lycra King for 2011. At home, he has 2 daughters, ages 10 and 12, both avid cyclists. And 2 Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, neither one a cyclist.
Tim Moore, Board Member
Tim joined PAA in 2005. He’s a roadie. His favorite rides are Montrose and climbing hwy 39. Tim is one of the few Clydesdale’s in the club, and when he has good legs, riders have been known to elbow each other for his wheel.
Wes Reutimann, Advocacy/Outreach Coordinator
Andres di Stefano, Vice President, Sponsorship Liaison & Product Coordinator
Andres has served on the board since 2010 as the Sponsorship Liaison.
Jerry Sanders, Membership Coordinator
Jerry is a new board member and joined PAA in 2011.
Jim Small, Treasurer & Race Reimbursement Coordinator
Jim has been an invaluable fixture on the PAA Board for quite awhile and takes care of many of the details of the PAA budget that would make most of our eyes roll back in our head. He has also helped organize charities for the team to contribute to which is one of our purposes as a team.
Johanna Tokunaga, Secretary
Johanna has amazed most of us with how eager and willing she is to volunteer to help get anything that needs to be done, done. Whether it is making sandwiches for some racers between races or keeping track of what we discuss at board meetings, she is always cheerful and helpful. She also organizes PAA social and charity activities.
